She was appointed Secretary for Planning and Budget in July 2022. She is an Assistant Professor at UFSC, working at the Special Interdisciplinary Coordination for Information and Communication Technologies. She teaches in the Graduate Program in Information and Communication Technologies (PPGTIC) and the Graduate Program in Evaluation Methods and Management (PPGMGA). Her research interests are innovation and entrepreneurship management; sustainability; and other related and interdisciplinary topics. She conducted a postdoctoral research, from 2010 to 2015, using the item response theory (TRI), as a member of the Measures and Costs Laboratory (LCM). She holds a doctoral (2010), master’s (2004) and graduate certificate (2000) degree in Production Engineering, and an undergraduate degree in Administration (1993), all from UFSC. She is an ad hoc advisor at the Anísio Teixeira National Institute for Educational Studies and Research (INEP) for the evaluation of undergraduate programs at Brazilian Higher Education Institutions. Currently, she coordinates the EXPRO project, a methodology for the pre-incubation of innovative business.
